Merlin, it was nice to have a place to himself. Not that he didn't like living with Hannah. But still, he'd lived on his own ever since Hogwarts and had grown accustomed to it. The flat was in decent order although he still needed a few things.
Sitting down on the leather sofa--which was very comfortable--he began writing out two letters.
Dear Mr. Robards,
I'd like to make an appointment to discuss my job with you. Please let me know when a convenient time would be for us to meet.
Sincerely,
Ernest G. Macmillan
He didn't want to go into great detail; he just hadn't been able to see the man in the office. Hopefully, setting an appointment would ensure they would talk about some training and responsibilities.
The second letter was much less formal.

Just a brief note of thanks. My evening with Meg and Ben went well. I'm not quite sure that I was silly, but I seemed to be competent around the boy. Also, I've got a bit of information that you may be interested in, regarding a certain bossy person we've discussed.
