Dear Hannah,
I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to talk at your Christmas Party. I wanted to thank you for inviting me, even if I spent much of the afternoon on the couch being a horrible guest. Cedric said you were looking to get involved in the museum project, as well. The floors and windows and drywall are finished, so I suppose that part of my contribution is completed, but I daresay there's more to be done that I could help with. Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like to meet up and chat sometime this week. I feel badly that I was so antisocial, and at any rate, I'm generally better company with one or two people. Maybe lunch or dinner, if you're up to it. Let me know.
Regards,
Roger
Jack,
How've you been, mate? Hope your New Year was good. We've not talked in a bit; I thought we might catch up sometime. You know Cedric Diggory, with the museum? Well, he's been abroad and back and brought us some Blue Agave Tequila. Ever had that stuff? I've never tried it, myself. But I thought maybe it would be a good chance to crack open the bottle with some friends. Ced's game. I know you've not met him, but he's an alright bloke. Let me know if you're up to it, and when. I'm flexible.

Hermione,
I wanted to thank you again for offering me the house on the river. I can't describe how much I love it, and I can't wait to start working on it and move in, and I really appreciate it. Anyway, I guess I wanted to get you something, as a thank you. And no, I'm not trying to get out of making you dinner. Just a token. I remember you said water relaxes you.
You can put this in your office or wherever. It's small enough to sit on your desk, for when you're too busy to get out and sit by the stream. You'll be able to hear the sounds. I hope it tempts you to take a break every now and then, and come down and see the real thing.
Roger
P.S. I hope you like the wildflowers, too.
