Cormac swore under his breath when he saw batty-old Trewelany coming his way. He thought maybe he could avoid her, but that became impossible as the woman, muttering to herself, headed directly into his path.

Well, maybe she would pass him by. He didn't know if he'd be able to handle her weird-ass conversation.

Head down and eyes cast anywhere but at the former professor, he picked up speed and was almost past her when he heard her say something.

He looked up and saw that yes, she was talking to him.

No way out of it now, he realized. He'd have to be polite and answer her.

"Hello," he said shortly. "Professor," he added grudgingly.

Oh dear, the boy was talking to her.

"Why hello, Conrad you were a student of mine, right?" Sibyll said trying to sound convincingly knowledgable.

Poor boy he looked like he was having a bad day. Sibyll knew all about bad days. She had been having far too many of them herself lately. So she tried to give him one of her most engaging smiles. Sadly this made her look like she had just swallowed a rather large bug.

"Did you know that when a cloud grows dark in heaven, a wind will blow? Very important you know."

"It's Cormac," he said, choosing to ignore the rest of the women's statement, as it made no sense whatsoever and talking about it would only confuse him more. "And I was a student a long time ago," he said.

He tried to find a polite way to move past, but she was block most of the walk, and the rest was filled with shoppers trying to get around them.

"Oh yes, you were at Hogwart's the same time as Harry Potter," Sibyll said as the wind billowed her shawls.

"So what have you been up to since you left school Conrad dear?" Poor boy was starting to look more and more perplexed by the second. Sibyll most definitely knew how that felt.

"Did you know that clouds are used as omens by many cultures? Extremely important that," Sibyll said with a sage nod.
