"What the bloody hell now?" Bill growled at the pecking on the window. "WHAT?!" he barked at the owl who hooted indignantly and fluffed its feathers.

"Sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean that," he sighed, untying the note and small package. "Come in. There're grapes and some bacon left over from breakfast in the kitchen."

Somewhat mollified the owl swooped in and flew to the kitchen while Bill opened the letter and the package. He grinned and moved off to find a quill and piece of parchment.

Thank you for the lovely gift. True, Cadbury's isn't quite Honeyduke's, but for Muggle chocolate it's one of the best. I can always count on you for your impeccable taste. Thank you for remembering.
