This has been buzzing round my head for a few days now, so I figured I'd better write it down before I lost it entirely. Is... very nearly post-canon, but not quite, and therefore a bit on the 'buckets of angst' side.

::grins:: Thanks. Don't usually go the angst route, but... well, the idea wouldn't leave me alone.
And the extent to which Angel was holding everyone else together never ceases to amaze me. especially considering he wasn't really there that long at all.
