Well we got hit by the snow and freezing rain last night and on and off today as well. The roads were awful this morning and right at rush hour according to my husband. He was nervous driving in it, and that is unusual for him especially so it must have been bad. I braved it around ten o' clock and left for my meeting. I have a fairly bad road ( Read more... )

Yep, it is a great deal. Ha Ha very funny buddy ! LOL, I was real close to buying a smaller Nikon D80 pkg. with three lenses for around the same. But, I think this one is more up my league Hot shot. Just kidding. I got more for the money, and ultimately I will get to explore more lenses and have the case etc, and not have to wait to afford it. But, I do like the NIKONS. Who wouldn't?

Yikes, slip slidin away, huh? Your definition on enabling is a good one. We've had non-stop rain for 3 days now and flash flooding everywhere but the temperatures are still nice and maybe, just maybe, the ponds will be full again this spring. That would be great.

MMMMMM can't wait till spring. I see some signs that it is coming, but then the snow goes and covers it over. LOL.

We've been lucky here in Buffalo ... all the snow has been pretty managable. Of course ... I haven't been out much since I fell ... BTW ... how is your back?

I haven't been out as much as usual myself. My back is doing okay. I am surprised. Today was my first full day back to work. It was a bit hard, but I took my time. I am having headaches, but that could also be due to my dental problem. But hopefully that is underway as well. Hope your back is doing better?

Your definition of enabling sounds right on. It's the perfect topic for your meeting.

Enabling is something most people who were raised either in large families tend to see a lot of, only they think of everything as caring. Actually, when it becomes a chore, or you feel resentful, I have found you have crossed the line from caring, to 'caretaking' which is enabling. Thanks, its something I had to really work out myself and am so much better having found the boundaries.

Can't wait for the new toy. I have been reading and reading my field manual. I am excited to see how much I have learned ! Plus, I am off until Saturday, so hopefully I will get to do some serious photography this week !
