I love that idea and I loved your prayer. I'll put my prayers in agreement with it so you can have double blessings and know what/when/how/where to spend and spend it to benefit the most from it. *hugs*

Well, what is really crazy, but NOT really because I know how awesome God can be is that I got a call from my sister very shortly after that post. I will have my money by the first of the week as soon as her check clears MY bank ! She was even nice enough to deposit it for me. YAHOO ! I wasn't as thrilled that I spent so much on my car this past fall since I have taxes to pay on my whole sum out of what I get. But, it is still a decent amt. and it came at the right time. HOORAY !

Now, does anyone have any idea at what % taxable income ihheritance is? I don't mean the portion that is on the estate itself but the portion that is my income.

I will be frank and tell you that I know I need to nurture my spirituality. It used to be very strong and a great source of fortitude and humility for me but somewhere along the way I drifted from it. I feel an amazing resentment towards God. I know it shouldn't be there but I feel it just the same.

I am glad to hear that you will be posting your conversations to God. I would like to read them and maybe something will strike a chord within me and I can feel centered again. As much as I try to, it eludes me.

I hope I haven't offended you by this comment. I look forward to your posts and hope your words to Him might mean something to me sometime.

Hey there,

No offense taken. I think everyone feels that way from time to time. I certainly did. I can honestly say that it was not a building (church) that got me back on track, but a new respect for how I see my higher power whom I choose to call God. He isn't very different than the one I knew growing up other than he isn't all fire and brimstone from my rather strong religious upbringing but rather more forgiving and loving the way I believe he ought to be seen. A true heart can be seen.

Love,

Aly

I like your GOD notes a lot better than getting a gazillion e-mails telling me to pray or else I will be doomed!!

Really ... they are lovely ... and right now ...

Dear God ... I need help. Please give me the wisdom to know when and when not to say NO!!! Everyone is making demands on my time and when I say NO I feel guilty.

Love
Paula

PS ... I heard your answer already about knowing when to say NO ... WWJD? GOT IT!!! ... OK ... byt I'm still having trouble with the guilt ....

No, can be a hard word to learn how and when to use. I am getting a lot better at it. I found that more than guilt I was afraid of hearing other people complain and would just cave. No more. I am important too. What works for me is telling someone I have to think about it for a while. I then pray, think, meditate and let it go. The right answer always shows up.
