Reid’s not sure how it happened. Before a couple of months ago, he was a normal college sophomore. Okay, maybe not normal (he was, easily the smartest person in his class, maybe the whole school. How was he supposed to know? It was Harvard after all.) But now here he was, walking the familiar route, paranoid about cops or gay bashers being about.

I loved this story the first time I read it. I had trouble finding it again so I was very happy that I found it today when I was just flipping trough lure_atwt.
