I made LIFETIME last night!!!  Yay!  Of course, I had always imagined that I would, you know, be below my goal weight when that happened.  But of course, it didn't, because I've been eating like a PIG the past couple of weeks.  So I had to lose .8 to actually be within those 2 pounds of my goal, and I lost an entire pound this week.  Woo-talk about ( Read more... )

Adelle and I went to the WW meeting at lunch today, and while I figured I would lost some of the 2 pounds I had gained the week before, I actually lost 2.2 pounds!  So that was all of what I had gained, plus another .2, bringing me to 134.4.  Woo-hoo!  Now...Let's just hope I can manage to be good enough in Arizona to not gain all of that back- ( Read more... )

So, apparently, DC is not as full of wimps as previously thought!  Even though all the schools are closed, the Metro busses aren't all running, and everyone is saying to stay indoors unless it is absolutely necessary, the federal government (and therefore, AIA), did not close!  There was a 2 hour delay, but still...If it weren't for the fact that I ( Read more... )

And I love it!  The federal government got out at 2:00 this afternoon, and, as AIA follows the government on these sorts of things, we got out at 2 as well!  However, the down side was that a large majority of people in the city got out at that time as well, and Metro was definitely not running rush hour trains-you would think they would have a ( Read more... )

I got a call today from the Dean of Admissions at George Washington University-I got in!!!  YAY!!!!  :)  So 2 out of the 4 schools I applied to want me!!!  Woo-hooo!!!!
