Despite all the difficulty I've been having here, sometimes I realize that I totally love biology. Today I'm helping my labmate "homogenize" a rat. By which I mean, put half a dozen frozen "extra-large" rats in a blender.

I did that for a summer, but we only used rat brains, not the whole body.

I thought homogenizing rats was when you made the rats abandon their cultural traditions for the mainstream.
