Thinking of you and yours. Specially when I wanted to smack the private school kids who pushed on to the train today so they could ride with their friends.

Thanks hon!

I never thought I'd say that I'm happy to go back to work, but I so am. Just need the little bit of normal again, even if it can be torture at times! :P

I had 2 cheers and 1 groan from the kids when I told them school was opening up tomorrow! The groan came from the youngest who's only been at school for a week before Yasi shut the school! LOL! I think it will be a long year for him! *grins*

Thanks for your wonderful support through this hon, it's been fantastic to have so many people listening to what's been going on for us. :)

I know how you feel: I just went back to work and it was wonderful to not be around moody kids.

I wish I could be of more concrete support, but I'm always here for you.

It's good to see another update here and I'm glad that things are going back to normal (if slowly).

I hope that your first day back at work (and for your kids their first day back at school) won't be too stressful and that you'll get the chance to relax a little among all the work that need to be done in the aftermath of Yasi.

Hopefully we'll get the chance to catch up soon but this week might be a bit chaotic (I'm working Wednesday, Thursday and hopefully Simon will get back on Friday and take me out for my birthday :p ).

*Hugs you tight*

I'm glad that things are starting to look up. I know that it'll take a while for things to kinda get back to normal again, but being able to go back to work and school is a good sign!

School already? Well, I guess it has to be done, right? Thank goodness the schools didn't suffer that much damage because that would have been catastrophic.

Thanks for the link to the photos. Your community looks a lot like ours, actually. Isn't that interesting?

Glad you're all doing okay. *hugs*
