Constantly round in this circle.
In Fatality Condominiums 2A, the first real sound of the morning is usually that of someone crashing on to the floor. Katakura Koujurou abandons the breakfast he’s cooking in order to go to Dante Sparda’s room and check if the Weapon’s split his skull open. Given the fact that he almost always rolls out of bed, the possibilities of such a thing happening are higher than they ought to be.
Dante’s head, (un)fortunately, is still very much intact, and apparently falling out of bed has failed, yet again, to rouse him from his drunken slumber. Koujurou decides to leave him where he is. He finishes cooking, sets the table, pours a glass of water, then makes a beeline for his master’s room. He arrives just in time to see Date Masamune pushing himself up from the bed, complaining about a hangover. Koujurou, of course, has some choice words about that.
It does not stop him from walking right over and setting the room and his lord in order, opening the blinds and the windows, straightening the disheveled kimono, offering a glass of water. Then he announces that breakfast is ready and will not eat itself, and leaves Date to get up on his own. Guilt, as always, has his master stepping out and looking like a proper young lord within record time.
Tokugawa Ieyasu arrives right as Date is moving out of his room - the young lord had gone out for an early morning jog at around the same time that Koujurou had gotten up to sweep the house clean of the remnants of Date and Dante’s latest drinking session and start cooking.
(It should be noted, at this point, that Koujurou did not even bother making breakfast for Dante, which did, as always, result in some dialogue between him and Date with Ieyasu looking ruefully on, but it was good that he did not waste his time with this because Dante does not get up before noon. This day is no exception.)
It is technically Ieyasu’s turn to do the dishes, but it takes a firm hand and a charming smile and some persuasive words to prevent Koujurou from doing it in his stead anyway. Koujurou, as he’s already been dressed and ready for some time now, leaves first - he’s going across the hall to pick Vergil Sparda up and start his usual round of Watch patrols in the Shopping District. Date first considers waiting for Dante to get off his lazy ass, and then gets bored just thinking about the possibility: he leaves next. Ieyasu takes his time, making doubly sure that the apartment is in order before taking a shower, dressing in something comfortable and picking up one of the books he borrowed from the library. He has taken Koujurou’s advice about reading in order to learn more about the world they are in; besides, Dante might be looking for company when he finally gets up.
The first thing Dante does when he steps out of his room is complain, in a remarkably similar fashion to Date, about his hangover. After that, he complains about being hungry. Ieyasu offers to order pizza. Dante mutters his approval and stumbles into the bathroom to take a hot shower and a good, long piss. When he’s back out he looks and feels a little better, and that just improves when the pizza arrives. He and Ieyasu don’t talk much, and it’s mostly because Dante’s too busy gorging himself to engage in proper conversation, but Ieyasu does not mind. Dante also throws his coat on and waltzes out as soon as he’s done, leaving Ieyasu to clean up after him. Ieyasu does not mind this either. Koujurou, however, drops back in just in time to see Ieyasu cleaning, and expresses his disapproval. Ieyasu laughs it off, and promptly shoves Koujurou back out the door again before the man can offer to help.
Most of the hours after lunch pass quietly. Koujurou returns yet again, to start preparing dinner for the household. Date follows right at his heels, bickering over something ridiculous with Dante. Ieyasu elects to help Koujurou cook. Date and Dante don’t stop bickering, even after dinner’s been served and they’re all settling down to eat it. A wild Chosokabe Motochika pops in to join them - it’s a good thing Koujurou always prepares extra.
The entire troupe cleans up after dinner, locks up, and hits the streets for patrol. Ieyasu, Date and Dante return first; Motochika is still with them. They bring out the cups and the sake bottles and drink to a lovely evening. When Koujurou finally comes back, they attempt to get him to join them. He does for two rounds, and then it’s back to being the responsible adult of the group.
At around 4 AM Koujurou is getting back up in order to see Motochika out the door. He then puts a blanket on Ieyasu (who is passed out on the couch) and rouses his master in order to put him to bed properly, drags Dante up to toss him into his bed. Then he starts preparing breakfast.
