I suppose the reason why I was/am hesitant about it is because my only other HnG fic is a very long and would-be realistic take on how Touya and Shindou might get together, so I worried that the people who enjoyed that would be disappointed by this short, cracky silliness. ^^

Thank you! I'm glad it entertained you. And my comedy seems to be mostly spent while RPing; I tend to RP crack characters, so it's quite rare that it comes through in fic writing.

I really don't like the idea of Akira with a crew cut, either, to be honest. The plot bunny was inspired by the fact that a friend of mine doesn't like Akira's canon haircut, and insisted he should be shorn. It sort of went from there. :-P
