A translation of the acronym "TOK" would be greatly appreciated.

It's my Theory of Knowledge class. Yeah, the translation itself doesn't actually help that much. It's a required class for all full IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma candidates, who take it the second half of their junior year and the first half of their senior year. It's mostly seminar style discussion in a variety of subjects and is meant to bring what we learn in all our other classes together. Solarez (our IB coordinator and our TOK teacher) uses it to check up on our progress in the program and on our extended essays and such. No one likes Solarez, so usually no one likes TOK.
