Thanks, I was hoping it made sense. It's tough to be in a fandom where fans are blamed for the evils on the industry in addition to being called ungrateful, and writers/creators/editors are vilified for their decisions. Sometimes I take a step back and just have to laugh. It's just comics, y'know?

Thanks for the awesome commenting. It's always great to hear from others that can see both sides. I mean, whenever someone goes against the gang mentality on scans_dailyintelligently without being wankish, nine times out of ten there's an apology first.

*sigh* Trouble separating the writer from the work, and personally attacking them? That's an online sport nowadays. As for Devin, it really, really sucks. I've been a big fan of her early work and missed out on what amounted to her downfall, reading up on it later. I get the hate, I get the dismissal but at the same time I have to wonder about the circumstances. It just seems so out of place for her, and I don't know if she ever spoke out about it either.

Ah, I wouldn't say the word I would use is 'respect' either. More like tolerate. And even then, I don't think it quite fits. That 50 Things in Current Comics That Make Me Happy list though, would be a fantastic read and deserving meme.
