Ahaha, you have the Monty Python bunny in your backyard.
I would call animal control, but find out if coming out means they might euthanize it. If they do, find a bunny board and see what they say to do. Maybe someone in LA will take it.
awww! adorable little thing. doesn't look like a wild one - he might have escaped from his home and ended up at your place.
I'm not sure which state you're in, but I would recommend giving the House Rabbit Society of your area a call and asking for information. They're the best resource to help you out. :)
Thanks for the link! It really helped me stop freaking out about the thing wot is in my yard. And we're continuing to ask around; it'd be really sad if someone was looking for Bloody Perpetua.
Oh wow, I totally forgot to update on Perpetua. I called animal control the next day, who said they'd come by later that week to take a look. But by the time they arrived on Wednesday, my mother had already caught Perpetua and handed it over to her friend who owns a few rabbits. So now I have an empty cage and lots of rabbit food, which I'll probably donate :D
The local store had nothing for rabbits, and I had to schlep to Petco instead. They gave me blank looks there too. But at least I have food and water for it! Thanks :D

Luckily she also has a friend that has rabbits, and we're hoping she'll take this in too. Calling animal control tomorrow as well.
