I am strangely calm, though upset. Had the idea this would happen because not upholding Prop 8 due to the legality of the proposition process could set a dangerous precedent for the state. BUT DAMNIT, it still hurts.

Very much so. During the past year I have met with so many couples whose marriages would have been affected had today's ruling denied the legality of their nuptials, and I refuse to believe the majority of Californians would be so spiteful as to truly desire the loss of their right to marry. This was a colossal failure on the part of so many, but we should definitely look to the future and work harder to convince everyone same-sex marriage benefits all and threatens no one.
Me neither; I'm definitely going to download the pdf so I can try and read it at the protest I'm heading to tonight. I'm especially interested in what the lone dissenter (only judge picked by a Democrat, natch) has to say in his opinion.
