Soooo~ Still no power over here, there's a gas leak... oh, and the creepy drone kids are creepier than usual. Fantastic! And all this, because of some elections? This is why I hate politics. Haha, it kinda makes me homesick, actually. And Falena isn't even a democracy! Long live the Queen ( Read more... )

Long live the Queen. Though I haven't heard of this Falena, I must certainly agree with this statement.

And there are safe houses throughout the neighborhood. I could escort you to one or another, if you'd like.

Hee, I'm glad you do. ♥ My Queen is a very cute Queen~

Yeah? I can probably get around on my own just fine, but I won't turn down an offer for company!

I'm not sure if "cute" is an appropriate adjective to describe a Queen. Were you one close to her?

And as far as I know, Beaver Street and Brady Lane are both safe from acid rain and gas leaks.

Appropriate or not, she is precious~ And yeah, I was her bodyguard, back home. She's like a sister to me.

Hm~ Brady Lane isn't too too far from here... Thanks for the info!

If you need refuge...

You can stay with my family and myself. We still have enough room for more, I think.

You sure about inviting a stranger over to spend the night at your place~?

Stranger or no, it is dangerous for you to linger where you are.

If you pose a threat of danger, I am able to defend myself.

[LIES. Absolute lies.]

You don't sound like someone who'd be willing to hurt a fly, honestly. I guess we'll see, though~

But I'm not really in any position to turn down your offer, am I... All right, where am I headed?

I believe this phenomenon goes far beyond the cause of politics...

Well, sure it does! But still: politics are lame, no matter where you go~

Lame as they may be, they're necessary. At least, where I'm from. Your world of superheroes may be different. **Yes, there's a little spite there about the superhero bit**

Necessary, sure, but that doesn't mean I have to like it~

And we don't actually have superheroes in my world that I know of. Unfortunately. I just read about 'em at the library.

Politics in this town, at least.

There seem to be some areas of the town that are safe.

At least the politics back home don't start up stuff like this...

That so? Hmm. I'll have to take a look around and find a place to crash. Thanks, Mia!

Exactly.

Be careful when you go out. In some areas the rain is acidic and can burn you.
