So apperently Billy Mays, the Oxi Clean, Orange Glo, Zorbees guy has died. From what I have seen he was a massive douche but a hell of a pitchman. But that is not why I am posting

I can't stand Michael Moore. I cringe when I see or hear him.
On a totally unrelated note, Nicole told me that you said for her to tell me that "More Than a Feeling" was on Guitar Hero. THANK YOU FOR TELLING HER! I was there Friday and we definitely played it and I got to sing. It was so much fun! :D
I used to buy into Michael Moore's philosophy fully when I was younger. I saw Bowling for Columbine and it seemed to make sense to me at the time.
And then I saw Fahrenheit 911. As I'm sure you know, I was never a big fan of George Bush. However, what Michael Moore did in that movie was to try and make a semi-obvious point (Bush = bad) by filling it with many misstatements, half-truths, and stuff that was made up or taken out of context. If I agreed with what he said, why did he have to resort to those kinds of tricks? That's when my bullshit sensor went off...
Quid pro quo, I think the numbers thing IS important. Texas is bigger than France, however France has 62 million people where Texas has 24 million. It's no wonder then that things are so much more expensive there.
Even in this country, things can be like in France. Move to New York City, which has a city-level income tax, tolls, sales taxes and all that while paying $2000 a month for essentially a large closet. I bet the non-tax and non-rent income drops down pretty damn quick.
I think the whole point I was trying to make with this is that, what works there will not here every time. This is one of those. I am not even a French hater. I love making the jokes. But privatizing health care in Europe won't work either.

The lesson? Move away from the big cities!
