Home again safe and sound. Sun when we left Detroit. Hit the Lake Effect snow a couple of hours later, getting by Michigan City on I-94 shortly before they closed the road. Sun again as soon as we hit the southern tip of the lake.

Everything went really well actually. I got to meet with my new boss on Friday night. Maggie (and the boys) and Jeff were able to come and help unload. Then Maggie cooked for us and unpacked most of the kitchen stuff. My bedroom is all put together with most of my clothes put away. I need to get some window insulating kits. We need to decide where to put the bookcases. And I need to get Comcast to come and hook up. If there is anything else it will get done when it gets done. I am still thinking that I need to have people over on the 8th of Jan.
