I am so fucking intrigued by Audrey--she's all this sex and wit and little smiles, all wrapped up into a mysterious, smoky package, and it's fucking amazing. I both love and hate that we don't meet her often--it keeps her air of mystery, but I wanna see her more, dammit! :)

The characterization of Sam in this was lovely--absolutely perfect.

Hee! I kind of knew you would say something like this XD I'm sure if we really wanted to we could write scores of fic about her and Sam, but we kind of wanted to just keep her as this person that Sam knows/knew, and leave it at that. She's part of his past, and nobody really knows anything about her except for what he chooses to tell, which isn't very much. I think Emily probably knew the most about her, and even then Sam probably didn't tell her everything.

I loved writing young!Sam and exploring the differences between young and old. He was a lot more carefree and casual when he was younger, and I think that came through in this fic.

I'm so, so glad you liked this, bb, I really enjoyed writing it and was excited to know what you all would think ♥

Well, this is just adorable.

Sam's characterization in this was perfect, It's a ritual he's become accustomed to, and a small voice in his head tells him, as it does every morning, that he could just buy some curtains for his windows, or maybe shades, or even a set of blinds, but he can't be arsed to do any of those things., this line made me smile so so so much. SAAAAM.

OKAY, EVEN FROM THIS, I FUCKING LOVE AUDREY. SHE'S GORGEOUS AND A FEMINIST AND LOYAL AND SUPPORTIVE AND ADORABLE AND FUNNY AND JUST LIKE... SO MUCH LOVE. WANT MORE. I do love the mysterious quality of her though, and how it respects Sam in a way (in my mind anyway), so I sort of do, and I sort of don't. XD

I love Audrey's tattoo so much. XD

OKAY, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH SAM? IT'S OBVIOUSLY JUST JEALOUSY THAT THEY WOULD ONLY BE AS AWESOME AS HIM IN THEIR FUCKING DREAMS.

Heeeee, I loved writing young!Sam XD

Audrey is pretty much all around awesome. Part of me wants to expand on her character, but the bigger part of me is happy keeping her sort of undefined and vague around the edges, and just let her exist as this wonderful woman from Sam's past who he loved and would probably have married if the world didn't suck so much.

OKAY, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH SAM?
The same problem that most people who get picked on have: he's different. He's ridiculously smart and doesn't conform to the image everyone thinks he should have and isn't afraid to speak up and say what he thinks, and a lot of people don't like that and are threatened by it. People suck, basically.
