I have a playlist on my iPod entitled "Writing Songs". Although mostly used for my original fiction writing, I also sometimes play these songs in the background when I'm doing schoolwork or fanfiction. I had to go to a Sweet Sixteen party (that I wasn't that excited about attending to begin with, but the whole family was invited and we had tickets to the Lion King, but since the strike was still going on we had no excuse to miss it).
