DAMMIT YOU CLOSE-MINDED BIGOTS! Get the fuck out of California if you can't deal with gay people! Better yet, just leave the freaking United States!

Despite the wonderful thing of electing Obama making it seem like my country was moving forward, California passed Proposition 8. This means gay marriages are once AGAIN banned in the state that has the ( Read more... )

I just don't get how people can be so stupid and cruel.

And makes me frustrated because I feel like I can't do anything about it...

Why can't denying people their rights be fucking banned??

*cries*

Oh my god, I know! And I'm especially angry since my part of the state (Bay Area and North Bay) were so heavily against it but the rest of the state dragged us down. Gah! Damn SoCal. And central CA.

That's what sucks about big states!! You never realize how many stupid people are there until they screw things up like this. And especially on a stupid issue that shouldn't have been up for debate in the first place. :(

There's only one thing I have to say: I absolutely second your thoughts, every one of them.
I can't understand those fucking narrow-minded people and for once in my life I'm glad that I live in a country where gay marriages are legal and everything.
Yay for Germany (at least on that point)!

No one gets hurt if you let marriage be defined as a union between two people. In fact you make things fairer and people happier.

I don't mind if you believe that homosexuality is unnatural or that gays go to hell and all that, but... you can't take away someone's right to do something because you think it's wrong, that's just assy behavior :)

*waits for next anti-ban bill to pass*

*Hugs* What f_haru said. Even if its a sin, you cannot be in control of OTHER people's sin. But restricting them from doing something that is not YOUR choice, well, that sounds pretty wrong to me.
