Figures suitemate S would be homophobic. Has she ever done anything smart?

And you should've seen her reaction the one day I brought up Ryan from HSM might be gay. You would think I had mentioned he was a pedophile or a murderer or a racist or something. "Oh my god, no he's not! It's a DISNEY movie! They wouldn't do something like THAT. It's for KIDS!" (not to mention her rampant use of the words "gay", "fag", "faggot", and "dyke"--all in a deragatory manner of course. Then she claims she's not prejudice about anything.)
God, I can't wait until Sunday. I'll be officially moved out of my dorm and never have to see her again *knocks on wood*. Unfortunately, her roommate left today, and my roommate's leaving tomorrow morning, so I'm going to be stuck alone with her for a while. *shudders*
But yes, it is exciting. We're living in changing times! We could really be a part of something big and important and make a difference...XD I probably sound so corny but that's how I feel when good things and big steps forward like this happen! :D

But as for the Disney wouldn't? HA! My parents (who are also homophobic) banned and boycotted Disney for a while back in the nineties. Know why? Because they "promote teh gays" because that's where the gay people go for their gay pride parade and gay pride week (as if Disney is going to turn down business...whatever) and because a supposed 3/4 of their employees were gay (like that could really be proven). But I'm like well HELLO, gay people have to work too, would you rather they all be on welfare so YOU have to pay for them?
GARRRRR. I'm sorry, that got me all worked up when we should be HAPPY because CALIFORNIA is AWESOME!

But yes, gay people do have to work too. And they make magic! (XD at Disney World at least)
Well, you do have a right to be a bit worked up. Steps forward like this do kinda highlight the places that haven't changed their stance yet. Hopefully that's just a matter of time though, and the general opinion will shift. Even in Texas!
