Zac Efron is a Scarily Good Actor.

Today I saw him in "Miracle Run" on Lifetime (which is what my mother saw him in before HSM, and kept saying he was amazing in), in which he plays an autistic boy. My mother works with autistic/special education children (which from time-to-time I assit her with, especially during the summer), and my sister's best friend's little brother is autistic, (and also we've recently found out my little brother is autistic on a very low scale but still in the spectrum) so I have some authority on this when I say that Zac Efron performed his part AMAZINGLY. Right down to the hand gestures, speech pattern, and even the distant look in his eye--I swear you'd think he actually had autism (which my mother had insisted on before but I thought she was exaggerating until I saw the movie). I mean, it's one thing to be a good actor with parts like Link Larkin and Troy Bolton, singing and dancing and playing the perfect boy/rising star, but it's a whole different level to play an autistic teenager THAT well. And Zac rises to the challenge beautifully.

To put it simply, I was aware Zac Efron was a very talented actor with his great reactions and facial expressions, but I had no idea that Zac Efron was capable of that.

If anyone ever has the opportunity to see this movie, I highly reccomend it. The storyline is great (and based on a true story like most Lifetime movies) and Zac Efron's performance especially is simply fantastic.
