I definitely know how you feel. I had to get out of the city and its not because i don't love it...but it is draining. and it doesn't help working in customer service. people can be downright cruel to service people...not to mention people just get grumpy in a place that's so crowded and hot and it definitely brings out the worst in them. it also probably doesn't help that you're dating someone who's not there. i found i had a lot of trouble committing to nyc without john there. and just because you have a wandering bug doesn't mean you have a commitment problem with life. i'm a lot like that too and i would say it's more a lust to live. i don't necessarily think all people were meant to settle in one place. we're explorers by nature. = ) i miss you, kid.
honey, i totally feel you on the commitment problem paranoia and quesitoning being here. to a greater extent than i think we give credit to, we always want what we don't (or can't) have. and i feel those moments are even more visceral when we're in a period of calm or rudimentary times. (not sure that i exactly used that word correctly, but WHATEVER! :) ) we should have a sleep over or just plain hang out sometime soon and talk and chitchat and gossip and giggle like old times. i'm heading into primaries this week (voting day is sept. 15) so i might be annoyingly busy, but i'll have a clearer idea of what that will be like by tomorrow.
