Ways I Prove To Myself That I Am A Responsible Adult Totally Capable Of Living Life On My Own:
- I got up at 8am to go to my biochem review
- I stayed until the very end of the review
- I showered and shaved my legs (even though TWO TEST TUESDAY is coming up and that means I'm receding into my sweats/hoodies regardless of outside temperature)
- I paid

Your life sounds so much like mine most of the time, lol. Congrats on your quiz and try not to stress about your tests. Just get a good night's sleep, eat a good breakfast, and try to relax. /mom voice
Are you planning to study abroad in Argentina?

Lol, oh the life of a college student. I hope you don't have to go to reviews on Saturday though, I HAAAATE when I have to go to school (for school related reasons) on the weekend. :'(
Yes. I want to study at Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires during the Fall, but the deadlines are closing in SO FAST and 9k seems like... just, idk, an unfathomable amount of money. And its like, every other day I have a panic attack that medical schools are going to look at my transcripts and go "well, why the fuck did you do that? DENIED."

Haha, it's okay. I tend to worry ridiculously. <3
They hold review sessions on Saturdays occasionally, but I never go. The only review sessions I ever went to were the mandatory ones for chem 112. /slacker
Eeek, yeah, 9K is a lot. But really, you'll probably get so much out of it. And med schools will LOVE that. They don't want to see another bio major who did nothing but study. They want you to be a person with other interests!
But I know what you mean. I don't know that anything I can do will be impressive enough for law school, so I'm in that same panic boat. Also, the same study abroad boat. Mine's a couple semesters off, but the money is freaking me out, too. :(
WE CAN JUST PANIC TOGETHER, I GUESS.

Chem 112 was what, exactly? My courses are all four digits, so I'm assuming CHM112 would be something like the equivalent of Chem 2 (CHM2046) for me. I don't exactly miss gen chem, lol, too much abstract calculation bullshit. Now its just SUPER SPECIFIC know-everything-or-die bullshit.
SEE. That is exactly what I tell myself! In the grand scheme of things I'm expected to come out of college with some debt (right now I dont have any) so why not do it for something amazing like study abroad? And I can study for the MCAT down there because I won't be taking RIDICULOUS classes like bchem and genetics. And I'll be confident enough to say I'm bilingual, which always looks good. And it'll look good on transcripts/résumés top of being LIFE CHANGING because I've never left the country! AHH.
Since you're studying French, are you planning to go to France?
I'M COOL WITH THIS, JSYK.
