ARE YOU READY FOR MYTHOLOGY MARCH?
THIS THEME WILL START WITH PROMPT 212 ON THURSDAY EVENING
This month is all about using ancient myths to inspire you. Maybe you'd like to write a fic where Buffy goes toe to toe with Thor. Or you'd like to explore Cordelia as Cassandra in fanart (And if you do Cordelia as Cassandra this month in any form, that is the special award!) Maybe you just want to give an old world touch to some icons. Whatever you inspires you this month in terms of mythology, go for it.
Each week we will be giving you a different culture (for example: Greek, Roman, Native American, Chinese, etc) and you get to pick whatever heroes, gods, goddesses, and villians inspire you to create in the Whedonverse. The only thing is, we want to know what culture inspires you the most. (If we get a lot of diverse answers, we might pick two cultures a week!)
So please comment to this post with the top three cultures you'd like to see done this month. Comments are screened. If you are having trouble, check out Encyclopedia Mythica for ideas. Their top five are: Roman, Greek, Norse, Celtic, and Native American. They have over 25 areas in their jump to an area section on the right.
