There’s so much to do when you move back in. Unpack your clothes. Rearrange your books. Put up posters. Set up candles, crystals. You have to claim the space, make it your own. But even then, a room carries with it everything that’s ever happened there. The people, the moments, the spells.
Tara carried the last cardboard box up the stairs and set it down with the others. She surveyed the room, drawing in a deep breath that turned into a sob in her lungs. That’s when it hit her like a 16-wheeler. Here she was. Alone again. Without Willow.
