Musical May!
OUR THEME THIS MONTH IS MUSICAL MAY!!
The worlds of Buffy, Angel, and Firefly were known for having some pretty great music. So that is what what May is all about. We are using the Wikipedia entry for the "unofficial" tracklist for Buffy and Angel here as well using other sources like music from the movies and video games.
Now, we do want to make share the music for each of the prompts to inspire everyone. However, since sharing music is so very very wrong, the prompts will be f-locked so the community doesn't get in trouble. If anyone here is a member of fanmix, you are already familiar with this technique. Just make sure you have friended the community so you can see the prompts.
The three songs (one from each 'verse) will be up for the length of the prompt. No more, no less, since I am hosting them on my own webspace. (Mostly so I don't have to keep putting them on someplace like MegaUpload). The free for all is going to offer you guys a unique opportunity to get the unofficial soundtracks by season. (Dial-Up users, so very sorry)
We will also be providing lyrics and caps from the episode the music is from. You don't have to use these, like always. We want the prompts to inspire you, not restrict you.
Sarah and I have already picked out the songs for the first prompt of the month. But we always want your input. Is there a particular song that you are just dying to icon or write a fic for? Is there a song that you already wrote a fic for?
REMEMBER: IT NEEDS TO COME FROM THE SHOWS, MOVIES, OR VIDEO GAMES! IT CANNOT JUST BE ANY SONG.
