Question...wouldn't Spike recognize at least Ethan's name from A New Man? Or did Giles mention him by name when he was talking Fyarl to Spike?

This story takes place in the run-up to A New Man. Spike must've (somehow) escaped the Harlots, and then run into Giles in the cemetery while he was shopping for a hideout. Since Ethan had already told Spike his nefarious plan for Giles, is it any wonder he wasn't so surprised to see Giles as a Fyarl? (I crack myself up.)

Nan Dibble has a bit of Spike/Ethan in her Blood Rites story, but Ethan is so thoroughly bad for Spike in it, that I am barely able to continue...too scary!

I have read a couple of stories wherein Giles and Ethan run into Spike in the '70s, and those can be fun. I am otherwise coming up blank. Must endeavor to change that situation.
