This is a scene I hadn't considered being written. I like Jenny being the one to come, and the reason why; and Joyce's "Sixth Sense" of being able to sense the supernatural was a nice touch.

Thanks! I'd always hated the idea of Joyce being alone when she died, so I wondered what would have happened had someone been there. I'm not sure where Jenny came from, but I just started writing and there she was.

The Giles connection between Jenny and Joyce makes perfect sense! But I agree, I'd always been bothered by the idea of Joyce dying alone, too.
