Dorothy, I know exactly how you feel. My mother also passed on last year and every 'first'is hard to deal with. Mama and I had just started wishing each other, Happy Resurrection Day. That was my first thought when I woke up yesterday morning.

You are so right. "Firsts" are hard. Mother's Day is going to be difficult. Just think, though. Our moms are hanging out in heaven, rejoicing with the Disciples.
