I'm going to complain anyhow.

I just had V for a wonderful second week long visit, the second in a month. It was marvelous but I'm just desolate now, because I won't get to see her for all of August. In September a more 'normal' schedule starts for visitation, then after the school year, another July of long visits and another August with her

It was wonderful to see you and V on Saturday, even though we didn't get to talk much. It was also wonderful to see you and H speaking, beyond 'hi, how are you?' to each other too. And yes, the rhythm of the school and the summers will settle in. It's amazing how much like you V is looking.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Trey. Please go to the memorial if you can; his family will appreciate it, and it will give you some meaningful closure too.
