I am very grateful you posted this. From here, I found the link to "Join the Impact". In 1980, I was a small voice within my community who spoke publicly about gay rights on behalf of all my gay male friends who were still very much in the closet at the time. I don't know exactly where I lost track of my activism for the GLBTQ community, but my voice has been silent far too long. 2009 has been dubbed "The Year of Change" for my life, and becoming an active participant in Join The Impact will be only one small part.

PS - we still need to do coffee. I'm on vacation the week of Jan. 17-25, if I don't go out of town, I should have plenty of free time to schedule something.
