Stole this from Jerry. I thought it was EXTREMELY interesting, considering how much we take for granted these days, especially as we grow up. And it got me thinking - how will our children grow up? What will they take for granted? Anyway. Just thoughts.

This is amazing--it really did remind me how extremely lucky I am.

And as for the pet thing...I just may be adding a BUNNY to my collection in december ;)!! It was my dad who diagnosed me as having pet whimsy. It's good to hear that it's manageable

oh you are so lucky, i really want a bunny. every time we got to petco, i drag eric over to look at them. once they were on sale, and i gave eric the puppy dog eyes, and he said "but then i can't give it to you as a present!" (because i got our first beta fish for valentines and our hamster for my bday). i think that's a good sign, but as we have several illegal pets at the moment, i don't think it'll be anytime soon :( when you get yours, i'll probably come visit and play, whether i'm invited or not :)
