This is seriously incredible. I'm going to prompt you for all the things, and I don't even care if it takes weeks and weeks to write them. I think all of it is my favorite part.

Thank you! Yay! So happy you liked it. I think part of the reason I couldn't finish this is that it kind of breaks my heart to leave him hanging like this. There's no happy way to resolve this, really, because the whole time I had in the back of my mind this thought of, 'You think you feel bad now, Chris, hah, just you wait and see what happens as the season goes on'. I mean, I got really emotional watching the Chris scenes of The Trial while I was writing this, I may actually have lost my mind a little bit.

This is lovely. Poor Chris. I really wish there had been more time this season to see how he got to that low point, and I think this does a good job getting into his mindset. I would also read a lot of fic about Chris and Ben's friendship/working relationship. And I love that last line a lot, a lot. Thanks for writing!
