Thanks! Aww, I love Dave, actually, and I almost felt a little bad writing Marlene's snap judgements of him. But then again, I think I loved him as a character more than as a boyfriend for Leslie.

I loved the backstory about her dad. It was heartbreaking and plausible.

I ADORE your Leslie voice in this. Just spot-on. The part about her father was especially lovely, all the emotions Marlene watched Leslie go through. I love that you used Marlene's pov and the relationship you struck between them felt right and and I loved it

Aw, thank you so much! I found Marlene's POV kind of frustrating to write, actually, at least while I was at it. I don't know, it's darker, but not so dismissive of everything that it's comical (like Jen Barkley's) ... anyway, so I'm extra happy to hear people seem to be enjoying these!
