Brief Synopsis

At 3am Thursday Liz and I finally got to Michigan, after seeing a Kangaroo on the side of the road and almost hitting a very angry monster looking porcupine. We crashed and I slept the latest I've ever slept (by a long shot!) until 12:10pm

That's why we were baffled!
(Actually, we SWEAR it was a kangaroo, but it was also around 1am and we had quite a lag, so perhaps we were imagining things...but we couldn't figure out what the heck it was!)
