Oooh, this is sooo amazing! They're very in-character, and your Mark is spot-on, and you mentioned Wardo's father! Nobody mentions Wardo's father! And WE HAVE TO EXPAND! ADS! THIS IS MEANINGFUL AND DOUCHEY AT THE SAME TIME! EDUARDO WILL BE FORCED TO THINK ABOUT ME! TAKE THAT, MR MICROBLOGGING! And the beginning of their friendship was perfect, just perfect.

And basically this fic is just incredible and heart-wrenching and so close to the feel of the canon and--not to detract from the awesomeness of all the talented authors in this fandom--probably my new favourite TSN story ever.

But there has to be a sequel! There has to. Because I want to believe that if Mark asks enough times, Eduardo will say yes :( He can't not! There's all this stuff that never happened between them in the flashbacks and the meaningful pauses, and I realise that the whole point of this story is that it will never happen now, BUT their epic love is just too big to be contained!!!1!11!! This can't be the real end! plz write a happy ending and post it as an anti-

Thank you!! I did intend to leave this on a hopeful note, so I think reconciliation's not completely out of the picture, but it's a very long way off. IDK If I could every right happy fic for this fandom though haha!

I love the maturity of this - it feels like Eduardo really has grown up when Mark hasn't, was always more mature and ready for things. I'm glad that he doesn't acquiesce to Mark and that Mark gets to feel what it is to have billions of dollars and not getting what he wants.

I think there's a small typo - One of his big hands comes up to cup Mark's face cheek and, caught up in the warmth, Mark leans mindlessly into it, like a fucking cat or something.
