I know this is snarky, and I know that drug addiction is a real problem, not a fake problem, but ...
I was watching some stupid TV show in the wee hours this morning about a PTA mom who was "secretly" addicted to pain meds. The host asked her if she had used these drugs when she was pregnant, and she said something to the effect of, "Yeah. One or two. If it was the weekend."
Wow. Not only is it blantantly irresponsible, but also... I couldn't help feeling like I kind of envy someone who can take drugs "if it's the weekend" and they feel like partying or whatever, instead of HAVING to take drugs due to ACTUAL pain, regardless of whether it's a convenient time or not! Ugh!
