Should I get Thunderbird?

I just updated my Firefox and I'm loving it! The thing is that I'm checking out Thunderbird and thinking about getting it. Is it basically like Outlook online? Like, will it integrate all three of my email accounts, or is it stand alone? WIll I have an @thunderbird.com address ( Read more... )

No Thunderbird is just a program, like Outlook. You can use it to replace Microsoft Outlook. I just downloaded it myself yesterday, installed it, but haven't used the program yet or set it up. I like the interface though. It's basically their "Free" version of "DOWN WITH MICROSOFT!" Outlook LOL.

I've been using Thunderbird and Firefox for the last 6 months or so. I'm never going back to IE and Outlook. The only hitch is that every once in a while you will come across some website that was designed to be used with NOTHING other than IE. However, you can install a plugin that allows you to switch the rendering engine in Firefox back to IE and off you go.

Yep, I'm a firefox extension fool and that was one of the first I got. I love firefox!

I use Thunderbird for my work e-mail client and really like it a lot. It beats the snot out of LookOut!Excess (but then, a command-line mail interface beats the snot out of LookOut!Excess).

i luv firefox. its faster than internet explorer and less pop ups
