So yeah... life is good... I suppose. Emily and I are doing grrrrrrrrreat. But that's a given... because... we're the two coolest people in the world it's only right that we mesh so well. My 21st birfday is coming up and I'm scared for my life. It's not that I can't control myself, it's just that... well okay so sometimes I slip up and drink too

Man, fuck a bunch of that shit. Everyone is so timid to even talk about real shit going on in this country. Two days ago I caught my old Government professor talking about the Anna Nicole Smith case. I called him out on it, jokingly, and he told me that he's not allowed to talk about any other political things because it stirs too much shit and he's been asked not to. Freedom of speech seems to be waning.

About you furthering your education- It'll happen if you want it to, man. At least you have ambitions. Just go for it. I also forgot that you weren't even 21 yet :\ You seem so much more, uhm, "mature." Haha..
