When we were as our future selves, I was an Auror. Was, I ended up quitting because the whole system was a corrupt nightmare and you couldn't tell who was on your side, or who's just a spy, or who doesn't care either way, so long as they get some power out of it.

Is the entire system currently corrupt? No. Are there corrupt people within the system? Yes. It seems like we're in for some difficult times in the future, or at least in the version of it that everyone saw.
