Well, this morning I wanted to post about this article: www.seedmagazine.com/news/2008/06/the_reality_tests_1.php.  Unfortunately, my mother came back from her doctor's appointment around lunchtime to tell me that she's on a new blood pressure medication.  We have no insurance...so now we don't have enough money to pay grocery or phone bills.  ( Read more... )

hey, I hope you figure something out. If there's anything I can do, let me know...
I picked up some of those little pieces of paper that hang off of announcements with phone numbers on them, for summer sub-lets, just in case.

Do the slips say how much the sub-lets are running for, and when they start? Because if I was supposed to sign papers in May, I'm still kind of screwed. ;)

nah, these are summer, so they're gone when they're gone. I saw one for $100 a month actually, with everything included somehow- there must be a catch. There was a range on the board, I think like $400 a month? But these particular sorts of ones are probably mostly sort of flexible and so on, since for a summer sublet, people generally just want to get someone in there. Probably many are taken by now, but not all of them. Also, many are furnished, etc, and some imvolve roommates.

Well, send me the info anyway when you have the time. I'll be looking on Craigslist tomorrow for both SD and WI -- I can't believe I didn't think of it before. But anything above $300/month, don't put yourself through the trouble; there's no way I'll be able to make both first month's rent and security deposit for that.

Nah GW won't reboot everything, The Empire will just be destroyed a bit before eventually repelling the enemies but the bad guys will make 'some gains'. Tis the pattern of all disasters for mankind.

Apparently you can now see two or three days into LiveJournal's future. Neat trick. :)
