I cleaned out the storage unit yesterday. The bikes fit in there much better now. I did 2 loads of laundry yesterday... and I should really do 2 more today. I have spent the afternoon trying to clean out my closet and reorganize it. All of this deep cleaning makes me feel lazy. I feel a little overwhelmed and sad really

I know what you mean about finding it not necessary to keep in touch with friends you meet every week. I have friends all over the country, but the only time I'm consistant about keeping in touch with them is usually an annual Christmas card- beyond that, it's generally when I'm in the neighborhood, or there's something going on where I live that they'd be interested in... drives some of my other friends (and my husband) crazy because they need the weekly (or sometimes even more frequent) dose of contact to feel like they have a real friendship going on.

Hope you have fun in Aruba and Orlando. I was just down in Orlando last week- went to go visit Grandma for a couple of days and buy some good oranges for friends here. Our next big adventure will (hopefully) be Costa Rica in January, and then we're going to Taos for some skiing in February.

Have a great pre-party- it sounds like it will be a (high-class) blast!
