You seemed so excited in your description. From the first fews lines, I was starting to get jealous because I thought you already had tickets. lol I can't afford to go. :-( Can you imagine how crowded the city would be not to mention the price increase on hotels or flights? Dang, it sure sucks to be broke. I guess I will watch it on HBO also. I don't know about Beyonce, but I would like to see Jamie Foxx and Heather Headley.

HBO will be broadcasting it on an open signal so even if you don't have HBO, it'll still come in. So we can watch it, woo!

Are you going to the inauguration?

I really would like to get down there Barbara Love is doing a cocounseling gather-in Sunday night in D.C. on the inauguration. She is amazing.

How close do you live?

I've asked him if we could go to it, but not sure it'll fit in our budget constraints.

DC is going to be a madhouse on Jan 20th, and I'm debating whether or not I'll head down there. I'd love to be there for such a historic occasion, but the metro will be packed and driving is pretty much out of the question. If you guys decide to come down, let me know and we can hang out! I'd love to meet you! xo
