future soccer star?

Just now I asked Lina "where's the ball?" She pointed to it, said something between "de" and "der" and then stroked her HAIR.

Another time she was saying "kee-ca" and signing kitty, and then one day she kept saying it the same and she would sign cat followed by hat.

So Lina is almost one, and I have yet to actually write her birth story.

( So here it is, with all the details I can remember )

new laptop has ms blog software, says it’ll let me post to lj, we’ll see.

Kids are off in canada. Send off was easier this year.

Lina went for a 10 month weight check, she was 17lb, 7oz, which puts her up a pound and some change since ehr 9 month visit.

Her Pa came down from new york to meet her. She charmed him the entire short visit, and now she's panting at the doggie.

I had my three remaining wisdom teeth out on thursday.

I spent the next few days in a percocet stupor.

It seems it also makes me a weepy mess.

ugh ugh ugh.

Today I am at work, but not for long, the pain is starting to get to me.

Why did my dog attack two of my potted plants today?

First he dug out my pineapple that was finally rooting.

Then the palm behind it that was finally recovering from when Cookie came to visit and ate it. He killed all the new starts on it and the top that had rooted after being chewed off.

He's never done anything like this before.

Nic is playing the first trumpet part in the new song. (I can't remember the name but he told me.)

Not quite the same as making first chair, but still shows a huge improvement in his playing in the past year.

(boy, do I need new kid icons, Lina doesn't even have one, and the ones for Nic and Mae are 3-4 years old.)

Last night I went online and ordered a new phone. I wanted something purple with gps. Chuck said get the blackberry, I was not thrilled with the idea, but figured I'd try it out anyway, insure of how the rant or lotus would hold up(one being a slider phone and the other being a flip phone ( Read more... )
