so tonight mum and I went to the Eat! Vancouver show thingy, and that was pretty cool. I got suckered into signing up for a subscription to the Province to get more food sample ticket thingys though, and then ended up with major buyer's remorse. We know someone who works for the papers though so hopefully he can see if I can get it changed. Ugh. It

Wow, that's so cool, wish I could have gone! How was Absinthe? Sorry to hear about the paper thing, hopefully you can get out of it. Are you going to use your cineplex "night out" certificate next week for sex and the city? *bats eyes* jk...sort of ;)

absinthe tasted awful, but that's because I don't like black liquorice. I knew I wouldn't like it, but I had to try it anyways. It was actually made by a place up in Kelowna! And I think I am reconsidering the paper thing, it won't be so bad having it and it's only for 3 months.

I might use it for the sex and the city thing, but only if we all want popcorn and stuff. Or I might save it for when I want to go to a movie with just one other person.

That's too bad, I've always wanted to try it and was hoping it tasted yummy. I'm surprised you don't like it because you like Jager and that tastes just like black liquorice! *Shrug*

Fair enough. I'm sooo excited for that night! I messaged Susan on FB a couple days ago about which night works best for her but haven't recieved a reply yet. Have you guys discussed it at all?

yeah, but you like sambuca and I don't. And I've only had jaggermeister in Jager bombs, so I really have no idea what it tastes like by itself. You'd probably like it more than I did.

I sent her a text yesterday and never got a reply either. I'll have to try calling her tomorrow.
