[Elliot was transfixed to the dream from start to finish, first because he knew exactly where his sister was. It was exactly like the dream he had a few months back. He already knew exactly what had been going through his mind before he blacked out... And then Leo showed up.
The sight of Leo made his heart jump, glad to see his servant for the first time in almost a year, but there was something else... Something within him suddenly became alert, and he couldn't explain it. As he listened to his sister yelling at him, he could feel rage welling up in his chest, especially when she pushed him. How dare she?! He would never let anyone get away with set hand on him like that, EVER.
... As he continued to listen, he usually would have calmed down. Somewhere within him, he knew that Vanessa was worried about him, but something was keeping him on edge. A deep, unsettling feeling was crushing his chest. Even so, he still couldn't just say nothing about this, no matter what Vanessa's reasons were, so immediately, he dialed his sister.]
[His voice cut off in a strangled gasp. All Vanessa would hear after that was the Dreamberry clattering to the floor, and promptly shutting off. Elliot clutched his chest as a deep stabbing pain overtook him. For some reason, his mind kept going back over her words to Leo... "If you try to do anything to him, I'll kill you!"
Something else was echoing in his head... A voice? He barely could comprehend what he was hearing. All he knew was that that it hurt.]
[She hears this, and at first is happy to ignore it. After that, she isn't feeling up to talking to her brother, not until she can get her mind straight. But the sound of it hitting the ground forces her to sit up immediately and reach over to call him back.]
[Again? So there was more to what Elliot's dream of Vanessa's death than what Noel saw? Looking at the whole thing, the only one who could have killed her was...
No. It can't be. Noel can't believe it.
She won't believe it. She had faith in him, and no matter the odds, she won't doubt him.
Still... The young soldier had been trying so long to befriend her, so of course she had to ask out of concern:]
M-Miss Vanessa... Will you, um... Will you be okay?
[It takes her a moment to reply, half of it spent internally screaming for this place being cruel enough to broadcast her internal thoughts (memories?) for everyone to see, and the other half trying to get herself to take a deep enough breath to speak.]
Isn't this shaping up to be a comedic tragedy? If Mister Izaya ever comes back, he will have to inform him that he found the perfect example of said comedic tragedy.
Far better to be all right than all wrong, wouldn't you say? In such a case, I would presume one to be alright; but perhaps that was presumptuous of me.
[She snaps, turning towards the NV. A familiar face but...she can't rightly remember their last conversation right now. Hadn't he been polite when he'd answered her questions? All she can think about is that dream...]
but he gives a small laugh just the same. he expected that kind of reaction.]
I did say it was a silly question. Well, if you'd rather I leave you alone, I'll oblige. I suppose you could call this a sort of "check-up" call. [slight lie, he really was interested in the dream.]

Of course I will be...it was only a dream.

[Wow. Their troubles were just as bad as Noel's, if not worse.]
Umm... Miss Vanessa? I-If you need someone to talk to, I'm willing to listen...

Oh well! If she forgot, then it must haven't been important. She'll focus on how angry the lady is.]
Oh! I remember that place! Lady! Hey! Hey, lady! Did you ever get to kill him after that?

What sort of question is that...who are you?
Reply
Hmmmm...? Oh, that's rude of me! I'm Lily! It's nice to meet you, lady!
[Oh, by the way? Those bad guys in the red cloaks? GUESS WHAT SHE'S WEARING.]
Oh! Oh! Just so you know! Those people who were out killing everyone in that mansion aren't one of us! So don't worry, okay?

One of us? What on earth are you--
[Oh. Hi red cloak.]
You are...?

Miss Vanessa Nightray, are you quite alright?

How can anyone truly be all right in this place?

I would be fine if this place would just stop broadcasting whatever ridiculous nonsense my brain has concocted for all the world to see!

That was quite the nightmare, Miss Vanessa. I know this is a silly question to ask, but are you all right?

In that case, thank you for your concern, but... [She trails off and takes in a deep, shaky breath.]
Are all dreams here so needlessly vivid?
